Pinnacle adds two financial advisors to Knoxville team

KNOXVILLE – Jeff Dobbs and Tom Blanchard have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as senior vice presidents and financial advisors.

“Jeff and Tom are well-known and respected bankers in Knoxville and are excellent additions to our team,” said Mike DiStefano, Pinnacle’s Knoxville president. “They will be great assets as they demonstrate our commitment to our clients and the community.”

Dobbs brings 13 years of experience from Regions Bank (AmSouth Bank), where he served as treasury management sales manager for a portfolio of 300 clients with responsibility for the East Tennessee region and the state of North Carolina. Dobbs earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. He is active in the community and currently serves as a coordinator for FISH Hospitality Pantries of Knox County. Dobbs has served on numerous boards and committees, including the American Heart Association, where he served on executive leadership for the Heart Gala, and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, where he served on the board and was financial chair. He is a past member of the Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club and the mentorship program at East LaFollette Middle School. Dobbs also served as an assistant men’s soccer coach for Somerset High School in Somerset, KY. He is based at Pinnacle’s Northshore office.

Blanchard comes to Pinnacle from a 14-year career at SunTrust Bank, where he was branch manager of the company’s Farragut Financial Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. Blanchard is active in the community and volunteers with the Love Kitchen and local schools. He is based at Pinnacle’s Farragut office.
