KNOXVILLE – Swift Industrial Power, headquartered in Knoxville, has announced the acquisition of the battery/charger division of Tampa, Fla.-based, Flood Power Inc. Swift Industrial Power is one of the nation’s largest independent stored energy solutions providers and will be adding the customers of Flood Power to its pre-existing business base in Central Florida.

The acquisition expands and grows the 52-year-old company’s commitment to the Sunshine State where it has three locations – Jacksonville, Lakeland and Fort Lauderdale. Swift has five additional locations in Alabama and Tennessee.
