The award is presented annually to new Culver’s franchisees who, during their training, opening process and first year of operation, have exemplified the Culver’s spirit that is important to the organization’s collective success.

“The Dresen’s have demonstrated passion, a caring attitude with their team and community and let their hearts lead their actions,” said Tom Goldsmith, vice president of development at Culver’s. “Until now the Dresen’s had no restaurant experience but wanted to create a business opportunity for their family to work more closely together.”

“Knoxville has been our home for the last 16 years,” says Ron Dresen. “We are so excited that Culver’s has been so accepted and has become a part of Knoxville in such a short period of time. All our team members work so hard to provide excellent customer service and fantastic food. This award is thanks to them and all our loyal guests that keep coming back again and again.”

The national award was presented at the Culver’s annual convention in Nashville, Tenn. last week.
