Former Corporate CTO opens NerdsToGo of West Knoxville

Local “techsperts” bring wealth of expertise to Greater Knoxville area

KNOXVILLE - NerdsToGo® of West Knoxville, a local, total-solutions provider in computer and technology support for both small businesses and residents, is now open under Don Dally and his talented team of “techsperts.”

The group is made up of general manager Ken Wilmoth, lead nerd Milan Umicevic and customer service specialist/office manager Tonya Thorpe. Don and his team have over 80 years of combined IT experience in small, medium and large business settings.





“The West Knoxville NerdsToGo will be my third franchise experience, so I understand the tech issues that small businesses face through and through. In a prior role, I was directly exposed to the technological challenges of small medical practices, and they are no different than any other small business,” said Dally. “Seeing this firsthand is what drove me to NerdsToGo. After working with both large corporations and smaller companies, I always gravitate back to small businesses. Helping them compete against their big competitors is a dream job.”

Early in his career, Don worked his way through high school and college as a firefighter. However, technology was always one of his passions. In addition to spending his entire career in the technology field, he would volunteer time at his daughter’s school with any technology needs they had. Before NerdsToGo, Don spent over two decades in various technology leadership roles in the corporate world. These positions included everything from product development to technical operations and even C-Suite roles such as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO).

NerdsToGo of West Knoxville is located at 11110 Kingston Pike, Suite 140, Knoxville TN, 37934. The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
