OUTREACH PROJECT

Knoxville Leadership Foundation is applying for a grant though the USDA Rural Development Housing Preservation Grant Program. This grant would provide Knoxville Leadership Foundation with grant funds that would be used in rural Knox County to do minor home repairs for seniors, individuals with disabilities, individuals, and families who reside in very low or low income households.

To qualify for this grant, it is necessary to announce its potential to the area in which we will serve and receive feedback from the community.

Pursuant to 7 CFR part 1944, subpart N, it is necessary to announce to the area in which we will serve and receive feedback from the community. Anyone may review our Statement of Activities, which list our intended purpose and use of grant funds, if received. Anyone in the proposed counties that the funds are proposed to be spent, may review the Statement of Activities, and provide comments. Representatives from Opticos Design and City staff will present on the concept of “Missing Middle Housing.” The presentation will focus on housing choice and affordability as well as barriers and development opportunities in Knoxville. CHATTANOOGA, TN -- The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will hold its winter meetings Feb. 23-24 in the University Center (Tennessee Room) located on the University of Tennessee Chattanooga campus, 710 E. 5th Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Meetings are scheduled as follows:

- 4:15 p.m. EST – Audit and Compliance Committee (public and non-public, executive sessions)

The  Executive Committee of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will meet virtually at 9 a.m. EST/8 a.m. CST on Jan. 20.
