Museum of Appalachia to Hold Old Time Gospel Sing

The Museum of Appalachia is holding a Sunday afternoon "Down by the Old Spring" Gospel Sing on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The old time "singin" will feature old-time hymns and shape note singing.

Featured bands will include Dixie Gray, The Museum of Appalachia Band, Back Row Boys, Bates Family, and Paul Williams & The Victory Trio.

Home-made ice cream and fresh-squeezed lemonade will be served.

Adult tickets are $20, youth tickets are $15, and child tickets are $5. Museum members are free with current membership card and I.D. Tickets may be purchased at www.museumofappalachia.org

The museum is located at 2819 Andersonville Hwy, Clinton TN 37716.
