Cheddar’s scratch kitchen introduces made-from-scratch items perfect for the winter season

With the chilly winter season closing in, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen is debuting brand-new, scratch-made menu items to warm and bring comfort to guests. Menu items include Crispy Chicken Tender Noodle Soup, Better Than Mom’s Meatloaf, Texas-Sized Nachos and a 14 oz. Ribeye.

Here’s a look at each new item:

Crispy Chicken Tender Noodle Soup: This unique take on the comfort classic, chicken noodle soup, combines chunks of hand-cut chicken tenders with pasta, sautéed vegetables and house-made chicken broth, generously topped with fried crispy crumbles from Cheddar’s iconic chicken tender batter for maximum crunch.

Better Than Mom’s Meatloaf: Meatloaf has become one of the most quintessential comfort foods and Cheddar’s culinary team has created a unique spin on the classic dish that’s so flavorful, they call it “Better than Mom’s.” Two thick slices of tender meatloaf are baked with a tomato brown sugar sauce for extra flavor, then accompanied by Cheddar’s signature bourbon glaze for guests to drizzle atop. This dish comes served with a bed of mashed potatoes and one additional made-from-scratch side.

Texas-Sized Nachos: As a nod to Cheddar’s birthplace, these nachos are topped with chicken or ground beef, house-made queso, black beans, jalapeños, cilantro, corn, fresh pico de gallo and a drizzle of scratch-made honey BBQ and ranch. This appetizer is served with queso and salsa on the side.

14 oz. Ribeye: A marbled ribeye steak is grilled to each guest’s preference and served with two made-from-scratch sides.
