UT student Michaela Leib earns Juror's Choice at Art of Recycling sculpture exhibition

KNOXVILLE - UT Sculpture Program student Michaela Leib has earned the Juror’s Choice award as chosen by metal artist Preston Farabow at the 2018 Art of Recycling sculpture exhibition.

University of Tennessee Sculpture Program student Michaela Leib and Gerdau Knoxville Vice President and General Manager Johnny Miller are shown with Leib’s sculpture, Groundwork, at the Art of Recycling exhibition opening ceremony at the Knoxville Convention Center. Leib’s work was named Juror’s Choice by renowned metal artist Preston Farabow from among the 12 sculptures in the exhibition, which is a partnership of Gerdau, the UT Sculpture Program and Dogwood Arts.


The exhibition is a partnership among steel recycler Gerdau, the UT Sculpture Program and Dogwood Arts.
