Pigeon Forge chosen for Pinnacle Music Festival 2019 competition

BRANDON, FL - Pinnacle Music Festival, a subsidiary of Traventours Events & Excursions, Inc., has announced that Pigeon Forge, Tennessee has been chosen for the location of their 2019 competition occurring April 4-6, 2019. The Music Road Resort & Convention Center, located at 303 Henderson Chapel Rd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863, plans to welcome over five hundred of the country’s most talented students in choral and instrumental performance.

Over three days, student musicians will have the opportunity to attend private sessions with two of the foremost leaders in both choral and instrumental instruction; Dr. Tim Sharp, Executive Director of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) and Dr. Stephen Kerr, Director of Bands and Professor of Music at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. During the festival weekend, Dr. Kerr and Dr. Sharp will hold private clinical sessions for all schools who attend in addition to the festival’s customary adjudication and competition that occurs.

The inception of the Pinnacle Music Festival “is a response to the needs of instructors” says Festival Director Candice Korzecki. “We’ve learned from working with them that they have a desire for their students to develop, not just compete when attending a music festival.” The festival, in its first year, will host nearly twenty different groups located throughout the country on both high school and middle school levels.

Participating students will enjoy some of the best Pigeon Forge has to offer in its beauty as well it’s entertainment. Package inclusions offer admission to area entertainment in addition to instruction and competition.

Fee Hedrick Family Entertainment Group along with Titanic Museum, both entertainment staples in the Pigeon Forge area are festival partners this year. “We are excited to partner with Fee Hedrick and Titanic of Pigeon Forge because they believe in what this festival is all about, student development” explains Dominic Korzecki, Pinnacle’s Director of Marketing and Promotions, “At the end of the day it’s all about a student’s future and how they develop.”

Registration for the festival is currently open and sponsorship opportunities are limited but still available for interested business organizations. Further information and festival registration can be found at www.pinnaclemusicfestival.com.
