Dogwood Arts Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition Features 25 Sculptures

KNOXVILLE -– Experience world-class art as you work and play in Downtown Knoxville. Art in Public Places exhibition features large-scale sculptures that have been installed in various Knoxville locations. Krutch Park, the Knoxville Convention Center, World's Fair Park, McGhee Tyson Airport, and Gay Street are the hot spots.

Twenty-five large-scale sculptures are positioned for all to enjoy through March 16, 2012. John Henry, an accomplished sculptor known worldwide for his contributions to public art, is the juror for the 2011 Art in Public Places Exhibition.

This year's featured sculptors include Lee & Betty Benson, Samuel Burns, Jim Collins, Adam Garey, Douglas Gruizenga, Hanna Jubran, Ray Katz, John Merigian, Marc Moulton, Mike Roig, Mary Ruden, Mike Sohikian, Steven Swenor, Marvin Tadlock, Durant Thompson, Kenneth Thompson, Patricia Tinajero, Wayne Trapp, Davis Whitfield IV, and Glenn Zweygardt.
