Chocolate Fest is This Weekend

KNOXVILLE -- The annual indulgence in everyone's favorite treat returns with Chocolate Fest 2011. The event will be held on March 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Knoxville Center Mall.

Vendors will be offering delectable chocolate of all kinds! Proceeds benefit the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation. All funds raised will remain in the local area to provide transportation and other vital assistance to kidney patients.

New this year, a group of current patients - including transplant recipients - as well as social workers, nurses and other health care providers will be available to answer questions and provide information about kidney disease.

Also this year, Medic Blood Centers will be holding a blood drive in conjunction with Chocolate Fest. Anyone who donates blood during the festival will receive a free Chocolate Fest ticket!

Another addition this year, Premier Surgical will set up an Ultrasound machine and provide a technician to do Carotid screenings.

Don't miss this sweet and exciting event! Tickets are just $20 and include vendor samples of all the chocolate treats.
