Dunkin’ Donuts contributes to Gatlinburg Relief Fund

Dunkin Donuts donates $5,000 to the Gatlinburg Relief Fund.
 

GATLINBURG – Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc., (Nasdaq: DNKN), the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, donated $5,000 to the Chamber of Commerce Gatlinburg Relief Fund to support the Gatlinburg community and those affected by the November wildfire. A check presentation was held at the Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant at 812 Parkway, Suite 106. Mark Adams, president and CEO of the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce, accepted the check with deep appreciation and gratitude.

On November 28, 2016, a devastating wildfire killed 14 people, injured 176 and burned more than 2,400 structures in Gatlinburg. Though it will take months for the community to fully recover, the continued help and support from local and national organizations is tremendous.

“We are personally committed to the community of Gatlinburg, our employees, and all those affected by the Gatlinburg fire,” said Estelle Valsamis, owner and operator of the Gatlinburg Dunkin’ Donuts. “It is during times of challenge and despair that we can find hope and strength amongst each other. We will continue to provide support to help rebuild this vibrant and historic city."

The Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a 501c3 organization created to assist the local business community and citizens through various charitable efforts. The Gatlinburg Relief Fund has been established as a funding source to assist businesses, employees and the community in the wake of the devastating fires.
