Knoxville's longest running children’s consignment sale, March 23
|
|
On Friday, March 23 at 9 a.m., the FBConcord Children’s Non-Profit Consignment Sale will host its 26th year of seasonal consignment sales for quality, gently used children’s items. Consignors will sell gently used swings, high chairs, strollers, bedding, shoes, toys, clothing, maternity items, books, DVDs and much more.
The sale is the longest continually running non-profit children’s consignment sale in Knoxville.
This event provides a service for families to earn extra money by emptying out their closets of outgrown clothes and then save money filling them back up with items the right size for growing children. Consignors then have the option to donate items that do not sell to charity. The sale event has partnered with the Mission of Hope for many years as the charity to which they donate the unsold items. The blue barrels are a fixture at the sale.
This is a non-profit sale with all proceeds benefiting the many ministries of First Baptist Church, Concord. Proceeds have been used for playground equipment, computers and technology, and scholarships to send students to camps and retreats.
Doors open to the public at 9 a.m. Friday, March 23. The sale will continue on Saturday, March 24 with a half-price sale. Most items on that day will be sold for half price. For full details, photos, directions and schedule, visit fbconcordconsignment.org.
