KNOXVILLE - The first few days of school should be an exciting time, but for families in need, dishing out hundreds of dollars per child for basic school supplies is a financial burden.

Primrose School of West Knoxville and Primrose School at Farragut donated more than 1,200 notebooks and other items to give thousands of local public school students the tools they need to have a successful year. The schools partnered with Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Countries (ADFAC) for this opportunity, but ADFAC’s school supply program is on-going so there is still something your audience can do to help.

This donation is just one example of how Primrose creates opportunities for children to practice giving without expectation and engage in the Knoxville community.
