Restraining order granted against minority owners of Hickory Mist Luxury Cabins & Lodges

GATLINBURG -- A hearing was held on Tuesday, February 15 in Grainger County 4th Circuit Court at which the current owners of Hickory Mist Luxury Cabins & Lodges petitioned the court for a long term restraining order against minority owners Patrick Landers and Ricki Landers. Based on evidence presented by the Petitioners, a long term restraining order was granted pending trial.

Hickory Mist is a vacation rental management company located in Gatlinburg, TN. After the majority ownership discovered funds missing from escrow earlier this month, they took over the company immediately and ordered an audit.

New staff took over management of Hickory Mist on Monday, February 7 to manage approximately 100 cabins on their rental program offer luxury overnight accommodations in the Smoky Mountains.
