Savannah Bee Company opening store in Gatlinburg

GATLINBURG – Savannah Bee Company is making major buzz in Tennessee. The Georgia-based business, and leader in all things Honeybee, will open its doors in the state’s newest family based attraction, Anakeesta, in July 2017. Located in the city of Gatlinburg, Anakeesta is an outdoor family attraction located on 70 acres of pristine forested mountain.

Savannah Bee Company is renowned for its premium artisanal honeys, honey-based health and beauty products, and mission to educate people about the wonders of the Honeybee and preserving the art of beekeeping. The new Savannah Bee boutique at Anakeesta will mark a milestone for the company as its first shop in the state of Tennessee. Featuring a kid’s area and a calendar of workshops and classes, the Savannah Bee Anakeesta location will be home to one of the company’s newly redesigned concepts.

In addition to expanding the company’s reach, Savannah Bee at Anakeesta will encompass the brand’s signature welcoming customer service and shopping experience. Savannah Bee at Anakeesta will offer daily honey tastings, a mead bar for honey-wine tastings, and an extensive Health & Beauty section featuring luxurious products made with ingredients straight from the hive.

“It gives us great pleasure to expand our Southern roots to Tennessee through Anakeesta. We feel the hospitality and unique experience Savannah Bee offers, parallels the gracious atmosphere that will be found at Anakeesta,” says Ted Dennard, Founder and President of Savannah Bee Company. “We are delighted to call Gatlinburg our home in Tennessee.”

Located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, Anakeesta will offer tree top activities for guests of all ages. Savannah Bee will be located next to the attraction’s Chondola, an aerial lift that will transport guests on a 12-minute scenic ride from the Parkway to Anakeesta Mountain.

To date, Savannah Bee Company has 4 locations in Georgia, 1 in Florida and 2 in South Carolina, with 3 more locations opening this summer, including Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
