KNOXVILLE – East Tennessee’s first personal luxury hotel, THE TENNESSEAN, has been named the South’s Best Hotel for 2018 by Southern Living.

THE TENNESSEAN Personal Luxury Hotel & Residences in Knoxville has been named the South’s Best Hotel 2018 by Southern Living magazine. THE TENNESSEAN comprises a AAA Four Diamond-rated, 82-room and suite hotel and 12 upper-bracket residences.

The South’s Best list is determined by votes from Southern Living’s readers on what they think are the South’s best places—collected through a crowd-sourced digital survey. Categories range not only from the best hotel but also the region’s best BBQ joints, breweries and more. An impressive 32,000 responses were collected to rank THE TENNESSEAN ahead of hotel properties in seven states.
