DECATUR, Ga. -- The Great South Athletic Conference has awarded the baseball Player of the Week honor to Landon Talley of Maryville College.

Giving the Scots their first baseball weekly award, Talley hit .625 this week against Tennessee Temple and Mt. Aloysius going 5-for-8 with four runs scored. A pair of triples elevated his slugging percentage to 1.125 for the week. He added an RBI and a pair of walks while going 1-1 in stolen bases. His on base percentage for the week was .700.

Maryville will hit the diamond again Thursday to face off with Berry College in Rome, Ga. Teams are set to begin at 3 p.m. For everything Scots related, visit their website at maryvillecollege.edu/athletics.
