Tennessee soccer head coach Brian Pensky has announced the program's exhibition schedule for the 2019 spring semester. The slate features five matches during the months of March and April, including four at Regal Soccer Stadium and one road trip to Alabama.

"This is an important spring for us," Pensky said. "Lots of opportunities for kids to step up and grow, since we are without a number of players due to graduation and offseason surgeries. We're excited about the opportunities that these kids will have to take the necessary steps forward, and confident they will show their teammates that they can be effective and help us win games at this level."

Admission for all spring matches at Regal Soccer Stadium will be free of charge. Restrooms will be open at the facility, but attendees should be advised that concessions will not be available during these offseason contests.

The complete spring schedule can be viewed below. Times are listed in Eastern and subject to change.

2019 Tennessee Soccer Spring Schedule Friday, March 8 - Chattanooga (Knoxville, Tenn. // 7 p.m.)
Saturday, March 30 - Indiana (Knoxville, Tenn. // 3 p.m.)
Friday, April 5 - Lipscomb (Knoxville, Tenn. // 7 p.m.)
Saturday, April 13 - at Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Ala. // 2 p.m.)
Saturday, April 20 - Kennesaw State (Knoxville, Tenn. // 2 p.m.)

The Vols open the spring slate with an in-state home matchup against the Chattanooga Mocs on Friday, March 8. The contest is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start under the lights of Regal Soccer Stadium.

Following a three-week break from action, UT is set to host Big Ten challenger Indiana on Saturday, March 30 at 3 p.m. Six days later, the reigning Atlantic Sun champions of Lipscomb will visit Knoxville for a Friday-night kickoff on April 5 at 7 p.m.

The Big Orange will travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala. on Saturday, April 13 for its lone road contest of the spring season. Tennessee will battle the Crimson Tide at 1 p.m. CT inside the Alabama Soccer Stadium.

The Vols return home for their spring finale on Saturday, April 20, taking on Kennesaw State at 2 p.m.

Tennessee is coming off arguably its best season in 23 years of program history, as the Vols reached the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time last fall. UT posted a 16-3-3 overall record and was tabbed No. 6 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com postseason national rankings, No. 7 in the final United Soccer Coaches national poll and No. 8 in the final NCAA RPI.

The Vols return four All-SEC standouts next season with Katie Cousins, Maya Neal, Erin Gilroy and MA Vignola back on Rocky Top. Additionally, UT brings in the No. 6 signing class for 2019 in a recruiting ranking previously released by TopDrawerSoccer.
