Benchmark Physical Therapy opens outpatient clinic in Seymour

SEYMOUR, TN – BenchMark Physical Therapy, which operates approximately 30 outpatient clinics in the Knoxville area, opened Thursday at 11518 Chapman Highway.

BenchMark offers in-clinic and telehealth options for outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and occupational therapy, including manual therapy, injury prevention, return to performance, total joint replacement, concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation programs.

Clinic director Justin Brown earned a doctor of physical therapy degree from the University of Michigan-Flint, where he also completed a post-professional orthopedic residency program.

He is an orthopedic clinical specialist, a certified athletic trainer and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He is certified in functional dry needling and Titleist Performance Institute’s Medical Level II.

Brown’s clinical interests include sports rehabilitation with specializations in myofascial release, myofascial decompression, blood flow restriction, functional movement system, concussion management, golf fitness and vestibular rehabilitation.
