Tennessee Three visit with Biden at the White House

TENNESSEE -- First, the Republicans refused to acknowledge thousands of Tennesseans calling for immediate action following the tragedy at The Covenant School.
Then, the Republican supermajority attempted to silence them by attempting to expel three of their colleagues in the Tennessee House for standing up and speaking out against gun violence.
Big mistake. Big. Huge!

Yesterday, House Democratic Caucus members Reps. Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones, and Justin Pearson visited with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss common sense gun laws…in the Oval Office. The colleagues literally took Tennesseans’ resounding call for action from the People’s House to the White House.
Tennessee Democrats voiced: "We stand united with the Tennessee Three. Tennesseans overwhelmingly support policies such as “red flag” laws, background checks, responsible ownership, and other commons sense laws to prevent gun violence." |
