Before KFD’s arrival, a neighbor noted the home had fire and smoke coming from the rear of the house. The neighbor knocked on the basement door and alerted 2 occupants that the house was on fire. They escaped unharmed.

No Injuries were reported.

KFD Fire investigators are on the scene working to determine a cause.

The home had a working smoke alarm on the upstairs that activated; however, it did not alert the occupants in the basement.
