SEVIERVILLE - MEDIC Regional Blood Center is expanding into Sevier County. The new Sevierville Donor Center will open in January 2027 at 1536 Winfield Dunn Parkway.

“We are very excited to announce this expansion and to have a permanent location in Sevier County,” said Vice President of Communications and PR, Kristy Altman. “This expansion will allow us to operate in the area six days per week year-round and that will provide huge boost for our blood product inventory.”

“MEDIC is a force for good across our region,” Sevierville Chamber of Commerce membership director Erin Cavette. “While they’ve been engaged Chamber members for over eight years, we’re excited to officially welcome them to the community when their new Sevierville location opens early next year.”

The Sevierville Donor Center will offer whole blood, double red (ALYX), and platelet donation opportunities. This is the first fixed center expansion for MEDIC since 2018. Until the center opens, MEDIC will periodically host blood drives at that location. The first blood drive will take place on July 17 from noon to 6 PM.

Construction on the location is underway, and MEDIC anticipates opening in mid-January 2027. Hiring for that location will begin in mid-August.
