KNOXVILLE - Join Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Johnson University for the Hero’s Hill Challenge, an impactful fitness event with a mission to help end veteran homelessness in Knox County.

Participants of all ages and fitness levels can choose from a 5K run, a family walk/run, or the signature Hero’s Hill Challenge, a demanding course that combines running with strength exercises and is available for individuals and teams.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Operation Hero’s Hill, an initiative led by Mayor Jacobs focused on providing safe, stable housing for local veterans in need.

“The Hero’s Hill Challenge is a chance for our community to come together and support those who served our country,” said Mayor Jacobs. “I encourage families, teams, local businesses – everyone – to sign up and show up for our veterans.”
