Street Paving and Road Milling Projects Underway in Oak Ridge

OAK RIDGE, TN - The City of Oak Ridge is continuing several street paving and milling projects across the City this month. All roads will remain open during milling operations, with lane closures as needed. Drivers should use caution when traveling through work zones and be prepared for temporary traffic impacts. Rogers Group will coordinate traffic control, with assistance from the City as needed.

Paving work is taking place on Bethel Valley Road, from the entrance of Edgemoor Road to the end of Alvin Weinberg Drive, with completion anticipated this week.

Crews have milled the areas of Valley Court, Tulsa Road, and Incline Lane. After completing work on South Tulane Avenue, crews will move to East Division Road, Carnegie Drive, Burgess Lane, and Cumberland View Drive.

Work is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather and project conditions permitting.
